Catch attacks and stay audit-ready.
Runtime security and continuous compliance for Linux, Kubernetes and the cloud. What protects you is also the evidence your auditor needs.
A missing patch looks different to compliance and to engineering.
Security and compliance are bought separately, run by different teams and proven with screenshots before each audit. The same problem gets found twice, or not at all.
It is one picture. Your compliance lead sees a failing control in several frameworks; your engineer sees the break-in it allowed. Fix it once and both clear.
From finding to proof.
- 01Detect
- A kernel sensor scores every process, file and connection
- Checks run on hosts, clusters and cloud accounts
- 11 threat feeds matched as events arrive
- 02Prioritise
- What is open to the internet goes first
- Every alert scored 0 to 100 and mapped to MITRE ATT&CK
- AI triage gives a verdict and next steps
- 03Fix
- Each alert carries the process tree and the commands typed
- A ticket in Jira or YouTrack in one click
- Policies in enforce mode stop the process in the kernel
- 04Prove
- The next check marks the control passing
- Every framework that maps to it turns green
- Your auditor sees the evidence with a read-only login
Everything you run, covered end to end.
Most security platforms cover your code, your cloud and what runs in it. orta covers those too, then keeps going: who and what gets access, and the compliance programme your auditor checks.

What your auditor sees
Fines don't care where you're from.
The rules follow your customers, not your address. Sell to people in the EU, take card payments, hold health records or run critical services, and a regulator can fine you. These are the ceilings.
Maximum penalties set by each law. Actual fines depend on the case.
Compliance that starts with a conversation.
No questionnaires. orta interviews your team by voice, in their language, asks only what your frameworks need, and turns every answer into a fact your policies are written from.
- Voice or text, in 7 languages
- Each topic goes to the person who knows it
- Every answer recorded as a fact, with who said it
- Policies drafted from those facts
Questions later? The AI vCISO answers from your own controls, risks, policies and alerts, with the permissions of the person asking. Meet the vCISO
How it starts.
Install
A package or one-line script on each Linux host, a Helm chart for Kubernetes, a read-only role for AWS.
Choose your frameworks
Turn on the rules you answer to. orta maps its checks to every one of them.
Stay current
Alerts when something attacks you, red controls when something drifts, risk that follows both.
Take only what you need.
Most companies don't need everything on day one. Start with the job in front of you and add the rest on the same agent later.

Security and compliance together
You answer to regulators and run real infrastructure. Your own systems keep your controls current.
- Everything in both
- Controls checked from your hosts, clusters and AWS
- Residual risk that follows live controls
- Read-only auditor role

You need to pass an audit or answer a security questionnaire, and want policies, controls and risk in order.
- 18 frameworks on one set of controls
- Policies drafted from a guided interview
- Risk register with a 110-risk library

Runtime security
You run Linux servers or Kubernetes and need to know the moment something attacks them.
- Kernel-level detection on every host and node
- AI analysis of alerts, up to your plan's hourly limit
- Threat intelligence and vulnerabilities

How we protect your dataRead-only where it should be
Cluster and cloud access are read-only. Nothing changes unless you switch a policy to enforce.
Your data, isolated
Every tenant is separated in the database itself, with row-level security.
Support only with your approval
Our team sees your workspace only when your owner approves: read-only and for a limited time.
Every action on the record
Every API call is logged with who, what and when, and kept for a year.
Wherever you operate, we speak the rules.
18 frameworks on one set of controls. A control counts as covered when it has a published policy and evidence: checks on your hosts, clusters and AWS, or documents your team uploads and approves.
orta gets you ready for the audit. The report or certificate itself comes from your auditor.

How is orta different from a cloud security platform?
Cloud security platforms cover your code, your cloud accounts and what runs in them. orta covers those too, and adds what you would otherwise buy separately: access control (zero trust access, just-in-time access, a central firewall, Windows application control) and a full compliance programme, with interviews, policies, risk and evidence for your auditor.
Do I need orta if I am not in the EU or the US?
Almost certainly some rule applies to you: the countries your customers live in, the cards you accept, the industry you sell to. orta covers 18 frameworks across the EU, UK, US, Australia and global standards.
What does the agent run on?
Linux hosts and Kubernetes nodes (1.25 and later) via deb, rpm, a one-line script, Docker or Helm. A Windows agent is available for telemetry and application control.
Does orta change anything on my systems?
No, unless you ask it to. Cluster and cloud access are read-only. Kernel enforcement only runs for the policies you switch to enforce mode.
Is orta a certification?
No. orta keeps you ready: controls, evidence and policies in order. The certificate or report itself comes from your auditor, who can get a read-only login.
Which clouds are supported?
AWS today, connected read-only. Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure are in development on the same read-only model.
How is my data isolated?
Every tenant's data is separated in the database itself with row-level security, and support staff can only see your workspace with your owner's approval, read-only and for a limited time.
