In development · early accessJust-in-time access

Standing access is a standing risk.

Nobody keeps admin rights by default. Ask for a server, a cluster, a database or a cloud role, for a reason and a time. Approve in Slack. It expires on its own, and every step is recorded as audit evidence.

Ask, approve, use, gone.

  1. 01

    Ask

Pick the resource and the role, say why, choose how long. From the web, Slack or the CLI.

  2. 02

    Approve

The owner approves in Slack or Telegram. On-call engineers can be auto-approved for their own systems.

  3. 03

    Use

Short-lived credentials: an SSH certificate, a kubeconfig, an AWS session, a database user.

  4. 04

    Expire

Access ends on time, credentials are revoked, and the record goes to your auditor.

Who can reach what, and for how long.

Standing rights shrink to nothing. What is left is access that was asked for, approved and timed.

Across everything

Linux hosts, Kubernetes namespaces, AWS roles, databases and SaaS admin roles, under one request flow.

Approvals where people are

One tap in Slack or Telegram, with the reason and the requester's history beside it.

Break-glass, on record

Emergency access without waiting, followed by a mandatory review.

Find standing access

orta lists who holds admin rights today, and how often they actually use them.

Sessions tied to people

Shared accounts get a name: every command on the host belongs to the person who asked.

Access reviews done for you

Quarterly access reviews arrive as a finished report for SOC 2 CC6 and ISO 27001 A.5.18.
